About the studio:
Now more than ever, learning how to find and use credible sources is an essential skill. Another essential skill is learning how to take those facts and create a message that will inspire a call to action when it comes to topics of social justice! This summer, we partnered with Whatcom Intergenerational High School (WIHS) to offer our first, fully on-line Summer Media Studio. During this two week studio, students learned about the “Rhetorical Triangle,” and about how the elements of perspective, audience and purpose intersect to create powerful messages. This studio was made possible through generous funding from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
