Student Productions in 2020
2020. What can we say? What started as a typical academic year ended up as anything but. However, in the spirit of true Thunderbirds, the students of Kulshan Middle School adapted, and as you can see, the results are incredible! The 7th graders took the skills they learned before school closed to create media that entertains, engages and informs. Sometimes, getting out of our routines is just what we need to spark creativity!
During the summer of 2020, BYMP partnered with Whatcom Intergenerational High School to offer a free digital media studio for middle school students called “Seeking Justice In Your Backyard.”
Over the course of ten days, the workshop focused on educating students from around the country on critical digital literacy, social justice, and the creation of PSAs.
